Romans 3:19-28 "Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those under the law, so that every mouth may be stopped, and the whole world may become guilty before God. Because by the works of the law no one will be justified in His sight, for through the law comes the knowledge of sin. But now the righteousness of God apart from the law has been manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets—the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all and upon all who believe. For there is no distinction, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as a propitiation through faith in His blood, to demonstrate His righteousness by the forgiveness of past sins, during God's forbearance, to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of him who has faith in Jesus. Where then is boasting? It is abolished. By what law? By the law of works? No, but by the law of faith. For we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the works of the law.
