Your travel guidebook might make Livingston, Guatemala sound like a Caribbean destination worth visiting, but take it from me, it's not worth your time! The city of around 20,000 people is tough to reach, dirty, and lacks good restaurants. If you find yourself on this side of Guatemala, I recommend staying in Rio Dulce instead.
