Two of Norway's top 10 hikes are on Senja and we hike them both. In 8 years of Motorhome adventure travel these two hikes wow'ed us like nothing else previously. Our first stopover in Norway is at Mefjordvær where we park right by the waters edge with fabulous views. We take an easy hike through the beautiful Forna. We needed to do an IBAN bank transfer to pay for the parking. (100 NOK - £8.18) We use the Wise Banking App as it has reasonable charges. The next day we take a 35 minute drive to Fjordgård, the starting point for the Segla and Heston Hikes. We hike up Heston for the spectacular views of Segla. Wow!!! Here we use EasyPark (£25.67) For our final day on Senja we take a 15 minute drive to the parking area for Keipen and Bardon. (free) This is also the best place to park to hike up Grytetippen. Ideally we would have hiked Keipen too but there was still too much snow around mid June to do this with the gear we were wearing.
