LIVE Test of the Boeing Starliner Abort System
Check out the live of our successful #Starliner Pad Abort Test at White Sands Missile Range in the New Mexico desert. We put the abort system to the test with the help of #NASA Commercial Crew and the U. S. Army. Once Starliner’s engines fired, the spacecraft got up to 650 miles per hour (1,046 km per hour) in about five seconds, proving this system can get crew away from a dangerous situation fast.
