However, the world record of 69 pieces I set in 2021 was achieved by eating until the next morning, and I judged that it would be difficult to break this record, so I ended the Sunrise sushi eating challenge last year. Amidst all this, we've launched a new year-end project: "A Journey Where One Piece of Sushi Earns You One Station" The rules are simple: we'll travel down the Tokaido Line from Tokyo to Osaka, and for every piece of sushi we eat, we advance one station. We can eat as many pieces as we like in one meal, but it's impossible to eat enough sushi to reach Osaka's stations all at once, so we'll inevitably eat a certain amount, advance the number of stations corresponding to the number of stations eaten, and repeat this process. Also, we'll be getting takeout sushi from major conveyor belt sushi chains, but to make it more interesting, we'll buy from a different chain each time. Thank you for everything in 2022.
