NYCN WARNS NIGERIAN YOUTHS AGAINST BEING USED BY FINANCIERS OF INSECURITY ….Vows to Join Forces with FG to Combat Banditry, Kidnapping The National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, has warned young people across the country not to allow themselves to be used by financiers of insecurity to indulge in terrorism, banditry, kidnapping, and other forms of criminality. The President of NYCN, Amb. Sukubo Sara-Igbe Sukubo, issued the warning at a National Thanksgiving Service held at Salvation Ministries in Port Harcourt to celebrate the recent verdict of the Federal High Court Abuja, which restored the legal registration of the Youth Council with the Corporate Affairs Commission, CAC. Sukubo expressed concern that the rising insecurity, perpetrated mostly by misguided youths, has continued to portray the country in a bad light before the global community, which made it to be designated by the U.S as a "Country of Particular Concern".
