When the outbreak tears through the coast and the support yards start falling apart, she sees fast that this is not a local disaster. The news feeds are breaking from city to city, radio traffic is collapsing, ports are shutting down, and even offshore crews are being told to lock down and conserve fuel. With roads jammed, flights grounded, and the shore turning into a freezing trap, she takes a skiff out to a cold-stacked oil rig called Petrel Six. The rig is not safe. It is dark, half-dead, underpowered, and full of failing systems that were never meant to keep one person alive alone through an Arctic storm. Sienna has to bring back emergency power, repair water systems, manage fuel, seal off unused sections, and turn one small part of the platform into a working shelter. Every choice has a cost.
