Sacramento Southern CSRM Excursion Train with Southern Pacific SD45T-2 6819 & Amtrak F40PHR 281 4K

This video was filmed on May 18, 2025. Not only California State Railroad Museum had an amazing exhibit with historical locomotives and train cars, but they also have an excursion train that runs along the Sacramento Southern Railroad between the Central Pacific Passenger Station and Baths since 1982. For the excursion train I rode, it has 2 historical locomotives in one set. One of them is an Amtrak F40PHR 281 which is one of multiple F40PH locomotives that were built with components used from the SDP40F and the other locomotive is the Southern Pacific SD45T-2 6819. F40PHR 281 is one of the 3 Amtrak F40PHR locomotives preserved at railroad museums while the other 2 are 231 at Nevada Southern Railway & 307 at North Carolina Transportation Museum.
