RadPower Bikes NOT SAFE - RadExpand 5 Handlebar Failure

UPDATE: RadPower acknowledged the issue and replaced both bikes (with another model). Although I was injured and this model remains dangerous, in the end RadPower gets 5 stars for customer service. RadPower bikes are fun to ride, but the RadExpand 5 model is very dangerous due to a faulty handlebar attachment. I crashed and injured my leg because the handlebar came loose. The single screw that attaches the handlebar to the body of the bike does not tighten enough and if you try to over-tighten it, the plastic collar will likely crack (there's a warning label to not over-tighten). RadPower is aware of this issue as indicated by the warning at the very beginning of their online user manual. You are supposed to do a handlebar twist test to make sure the handlebars don't move. Obviously other people have also been injured by the handlebars failing. Both of our bikes fail. Can you imagine having to worry about the handlebars falling off when you go out to ride your bike?! The RadExpand 5 needs to be recalled. RadPower needs to replace these bikes with ones that don't have this faulty component.
