What happened to the Klamath River Dams?
The four Klamath River Dams have finally been removed: JC Boyle Dam, Copco Dams 1 and 2, and Iron Gate Dam. The Klamath River is now flowing free for nearly its entire length. But not all is as it appears. Blocked habitat, water temperatures, and algae infestation were all reasons for dam removal. But what about the reasons for the dams to stay?
