In this film, we follow the complete International Metro milk truck restoration by the team at Reparadise, transforming a vintage step van into a permanent community landmark. Developer Kathia Dang spent eight years revitalizing a historic block in downtown Salt Lake City. Along the way, she knew the neighborhood needed something symbolic. Enter Benny — a classic International Harvester Metro brought back to life to represent the spirit of the Milk Block. Michael Dang takes us behind the scenes of the truck restoration process, the challenges of historic redevelopment, and the deeper parallels between restoring a 1960s milk truck and rebuilding a neighborhood block by block.
