Epicurismo | Felicidade é Tranquilidade

Epicureanism is the philosophical system that advocates the pursuit of moderate pleasures to achieve a state of tranquility and freedom from fear, with the absence of bodily suffering through knowledge of how the world works and the limitations of desires. When desires are exacerbated, they can be a source of constant disturbance, hindering the pursuit of happiness, which is the maintenance of physical health and spiritual serenity, as taught by Epicurus of Samos, a fourth-century BC Athenian philosopher.
