#episode1 :Continent Hopping (English, Español, Türkçe) Ahoy Sailors! ⛵️ This is the first episode of my voyage with my tiny 17-foot sailboat, Joy. 😊 I undocked from Istanbul and ended up in Athens via Antalya—crossing the Marmara, the Aegean, and the Mediterranean (~1,500 nautical miles). The journey is still ongoing, but I recently decided to start sharing it here on YouTube. My goal is to upload the entire 'Tale of Three Seas' by May 2026, before I set sail for new terrae incognitae. After that, I plan to publish weekly videos of my ongoing sailing adventures. We will plan that route together. When I started this journey, I had no prior experience or education in sailing. I decided to learn it all on the open sea, entirely on my own. Believe me, friends: we are all the same. We are the ones who had never sailed, yet always dreamed of doing it, aren’t we? We are the ones who tracked budget sailboats in late-night browser tabs, aren’t we? So, with Joy, my tiny 17-footer, I sailed from Istanbul to Finike all along the beautiful Turkish coasts in the summer of 2024; and in the summer of 2025, I continued from Finike to Athens, hopping through 17 magnificent Greek islands. 🏝️ I’ve captured some incredible footage along the way with an action camera and my phone. In this series—Tale of Three Seas—I will tell the story of this adventurous and fantastic voyage of Joy and me by mixing that footage together. You will find plenty of sailing action, but you will also discover satisfying content about the locals and friends I met, ancient cities, gods, artifacts, delicious food, and the unique spirit of the places I visited. ✨ And—above all—happiness, my friends.
