No Anglers, Unkown Carp, One Week Alone

A week away on a quiet, unknown lake chasing some equally unknown carp. Having fished the water years ago, I was keen to return and see what was still swimming beneath the surface. After arriving, the owner told me that otters had sadly killed a large number of the fish in recent years, making me wonder what, if anything, had survived. With only my dog Zorro for company, the question was always there — could there still be a mythical big carp left in the lake? In a time where untouched waters are becoming increasingly rare, finding a lake with no other anglers and some truly stunning fish feels special. PLEASE RESPECT THE PRIVACY OF THIS WATER. ANY comments asking for the location, hinting at the venue, or making guesses — whether right or wrong — WILL be deleted immediately. Keeping special places like this quiet is the only reason they remain special.
