Iranian state media quoted the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters as saying that any company or country that receives frozen Iranian assets as compensation for its damaged ships will be barred from transiting the Strait of Hormuz. The headquarters' spokesman, Ebrahim Zolfaghari, rejected US President Donald Trump's announcement that he would compensate ships damaged by Iran in the Gulf using frozen Iranian funds. Iranian government spokeswoman Fatemeh Mohajerani announced that her country lost approximately 230 million cubic meters of natural gas production capacity daily during the US-Israeli war against it. She added that the government is working to repair the extensive damage to infrastructure in the southern provinces, noting the destruction of the meteorological center in Bushehr and the targeting of 12 bridges. She also mentioned the commencement of work on alternative routes and the repair of damaged airports and facilities.
