Netfix Original | EK Hatch Series Begin! Speedometer fix! | Episode 1

Welcome to the EK Hatch Series! In this episode I introduce you guys to my 2000 Honda Civic CX Hatchback, and give a brief explanation of what we’re doing with this series! The plan is to make this series for anyone and everyone, to show that doing your own build is possible. And what better way to learn, than on an old EK Hatchback! This is my daily commuter for work, I recently purchased it in January 2020. Before the decision to start this channel, we went ahead and did the basic maintenance you would do when buying an old used vehicle. We changed the engine oil, transmission oil, and completely re-did the entire brake system. Unfortunately, none of that was filmed, but it was done! Now it’s time to start working on the small stuff, and get this vehicle to where I want it. To start it will mainly be appearance mods, but some mechanical things will be getting fixed along the way. To start, we’re getting the speedometer to work correctly, and what better way than to upgrade the cluster to an EX cluster with an RPM gauge! We replaced the speed sensor on the vehicle to start, but that didn’t fix the problem. Watch to see how we managed to mend the issue!
