A Kid Mailed This Mickey Mantle Card in 1952. What Happened Next Is Incredible

In this video, I share the incredible journey of Barry Walner, who pulled a 1952 Bowman Mickey Mantle from a pack, mailed it to the New York Yankees for an autograph, and received it back signed by Mickey Mantle himself. Thanks to extensive research and provenance, the autograph is believed to have been signed in April of 1952 just weeks after the card was issued. We'll explore the history behind the card, why this autograph is so significant, and how the story eventually led to Rabbit Hole Auctions. A special thank you to Bob D'Angelo of Sports Collectors Daily for documenting this incredible story and helping preserve an important piece of hobby history. https://www.sportscollectorsdaily.com... Jason and I will also be welcoming Barry Walner and Justin Hirsch of Rabbit Hole Auctions to a future episode of Cardboard & Cold Ones, where we'll dive even deeper into the story behind this remarkable piece of baseball history.
