HOW WE APPROACH BOUNCING / In this video we break down how we approach bouncing. While the steady, even beat bounce is really popular, we like to use it more as a musical choice and not a regular choice in our Lindy Hop foundation. Using a wave-like groove that has an alternating beat, represents Swing music pretty well! Also, keep in mind, the more momentum or horizontal energy (the more you travel), your groove will naturally smooth out. If anything, trying to have a large bounce and travel far are two goals that don't support each other that well for efficient and comfortable dancing.
