Playing The FERRARI GAME!? Buying, Allocations and Collecting

Let's talk about the 'game' of buying and collecting Ferrari cars! My garage now features three; the 296 GTS alongside Purosangue and SF90 Stradale, but with more on the way let's talk about what it means to be a Ferrari collector and especially around allocations for limited models. With both my Purosangue and 296 GTS arriving in quick succession, and having recently taking the Puro down to Italy and Monaco, as a result the 296 has seen very little mileage up to this point - in fact it is yet to be fully run in and ready for action. This is both of the timing, my recent travels, and the fact it actually arrived significantly earlier than expected. After being exceptionally fortunate to secure an allocation for the Ferrari SF90 XX Stradale, I've seen lots of comments suggesting that the likes of the 296 GTS and Purosangue are cars only bought for no other reason, so what better than to take the 296 out for a run to give my thoughts. When it comes to luxury goods like Rolex or Hermes, or any car brand like Porsche or McLaren, there's always a 'chicken or egg' situation where special cars will be allocated to those loyal customers who have bought many of their products, and been close to the company. It is almost certain that I will sell my SF90 when the XX is here, but continue the 296 GTS, Purosangue and inbound Roma Spider alongside others that may well arrive in future. In my opinion, Ferrari are absolutely on point at the moment with their model portfolio, and it's unbelievable to have the opportunity to buy and enjoy these cars, which if it brings the chance to then experience the likes of the SF90 XX, it's literally a dream come true.
