My Bike Broke Mid-Ride, Then This Happened

Island life isn’t always as easy as it looks… 😅 In this episode, we head out on a Sunday morning cycle along the west coast of Barbados, taking in the coastal views before attempting one of the toughest climbs we’ve faced so far — Orange Hill. What starts as a relaxed ride quickly turns into a serious challenge. From smooth coastal roads to steep gradients, this ride tests everything — endurance, mindset, and the bike itself. With climbs reaching up to 889ft, there are moments where stopping feels easier than pushing forward. Along the way, we deal with a mid-ride bike issue, forcing a quick fix before continuing the climb. But this is where the journey becomes more than just cycling.
