Developed and published by Ubi Soft in 1995 As one of the toughest games in the genre, it took quite an effort to record it, but it was worth the effort. Michel Ansel's creation was and still is a thing of beauty, demonstrating what 32-bit technology could bring to the realm of 2D side-scrollers. When I started remastering some of my old recordings Rayman was very much one of the titles I wanted to upgrade. I still had the original recording, so I wanted to make sure I could get it encoded and uploaded before anything might happen to it. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this new 4K encoding of Rayman. It's an 8x upscale over the original game's resolution (320 x 240) - the artwork is only as good as the original source material, but everything should be much sharper and with less macroblocking than the 720p encoding (particularly in high moving scenes).
