We visit Silver Springs, Devil's Den, and leave Orlando. #florida #usa #america Our journey through the USA continues. This time, we leave Orlando and head towards the underground cave Devil's Den, then head to Silver Springs, where we rent a kayak. At first, when someone said they saw an alligator in the bushes, we thought they were joking, but when a couple showed us the bushes where that particular alligator was, we realized why we had to sign so many liability insurance policies before renting a kayak. Then we head back towards eastern Florida and stay overnight in Cape Canaveral, where Musk's SpaceX rocket was scheduled to launch the next day. What surprised us a bit was that you could rent a kayak right there, right in the middle of nowhere, where you might spot alligators. No one even warned us about this. It wasn't until some older ladies told us they'd seen one, which we thought was a joke, knowing we were tourists from Europe. But when several women passing us on kayaks told us there was an alligator in the bushes, it was only then that we realized that this is Florida, USA, and alligators can be found everywhere. Since you're reading this, we survived the trip, but it was a lot of stress and laughter.
