The Cheapest Country To Buy A Luxury Watch

The same watch can cost thousands more depending on where you buy it. So I compared retail prices around the world for three popular luxury watches: the Rolex GMT-Master II, the Omega Seamaster Diver 300M, and the Cartier Tank. The question was simple: where is the cheapest place in the world to buy a luxury watch? I looked at prices across the United States, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Germany, Australia, Japan and Hong Kong, converted everything back into USD, and then compared the results both before and after potential tourist tax refunds. Some of the results were exactly what I expected. Some were not. This is not financial advice, travel advice, or a recommendation to fly across the world just to buy a watch. But if you are already travelling and looking at luxury watches, the country you buy in can make a much bigger difference than you might expect. Prices and exchange rates were taken in June 2026 and may change over time. Tourist refund schemes are subject to eligibility, retailer participation, fees, customs processes and local rules. This video compares purchase prices at the point of sale and does not calculate any import duties, GST, VAT, sales tax or other charges that may apply when returning to your home country. #Rolex #Omega #Cartier #LuxuryWatches #WatchCollecting
