Hyperurecemia had several effects on joints and kidneys. It can cause stones and kidney disease and Uric acid level can go up in patients with CKD. Eat healthy. Low protein diet. No alcohol. Dash diet. Excercise , more water. Avoid diuretics When to Treat ! No need to treat a symptomatic increase in Uric acid unless stones or CKD or more than 1 gouty attacke per year or tophi formation or arthopathy because of gout and You treat with allopurinol or febuxostat etc Moreover , Highly Uric acid is linked with Arthritis ( no bone pains ) severe pain in one joint usually. It causes Stones .... Urate stones are well known. Can cause CKD.... higher UA level can cause NEW and progressive CKD. Would drugs to lower Uric acid cause slow in CKD progression is controversial. Hyperurecemia is also associated with HTN Fatty liver New Onset Diabetes And heart disease. Prevention is key. Early treatment by right doctor!!
