NOURISHING HEROES ON THE FRONTLINES: OVP’s KFT DELIVERS COMFORT AMID QUEZON CITY FIRE

In the wake of the fire that struck Daang Tubo in Barangay UP Campus, Quezon City on March 3, 2025, while smoke still filled the air and firefighters worked tirelessly to contain the blaze, the Office of the Vice President (OVP) immediately mobilized its Kalusugan Food Truck (KFT) to provide nourishment and support to the brave men and women on the frontlines. Through the coordinated efforts of the OVP-Disaster Operations Center (OVP-DOC) and in partnership with the barangay, hot afternoon snacks consisting of pancit guisado, sliced bread, and bottled water were served to around 200 to 300 firefighters and volunteers.
