SP Tutorial
Self-potential, SP, is an electric geophysical method based on natural potential differences in the ground. It is applied here to volcanic studies. This tutorial es destined to whoever works in the field. It is the result of years of experience. This movie is the first of a series of 3 chapters. The next one will present SP measurements coupled with others geophysical an geochemical methods during geothermal systems studies. Numerous interpretations will be commented, based on international publications from the study authors. A third chapter will present data analysis and SP applied to geothermal systems.
