Here is Daniel Decatur Emmett's "Dixie" (I wish I was in Dixie's Land) recorded in 1916 by Edison and featuring Billy Murray & Ada Jones as part of the Metropolitan Mixed Chorus. All five verses of this favorite Campfire Song of the Civil War, are sung by the individual members of the Chorus. The Edison Amberola is the Model V which was first introduced in March of 1913.
