Day 42 - Port au Choix to L'anse Aux Meadows

It feels like I have arrived at the end of the world. What a unique and almost lonely landscape. The ride itself was difficult. For a large portion of the ride it was 10 degrees with stiff winds and pouring rain. So the road wasn't very much fun. Tomorrow, I'm looking forward to exploring the UNESCO World Heritage site dedicated to the history of the Vikings establishing a community here over 1000 years ago. This also represents the turning around point of my summer trip. Every mile from here on is basically a mile closer to home. I'm looking forward to that too.
