How to Build a ROUND ROOM in Subnautica 2 - Build Round, Oval, or Clover Shaped Observation Rooms

In this Subnautica 2 base building tutorial, I’ll show you how to create a round room style base even though Subnautica 2 does not currently have a proper round glass room piece like players may expect. Instead, you can use the current base building system to create an oval room, pill-shaped room, or a better clover-shaped round room that gives you the same kind of open, rounded base layout. The first design is a simple oval / pill-shaped room. This is the easiest way to fake a round room in Subnautica 2 and works well if you want a clean, smooth base interior without overcomplicating the build. It gives you a wide open space that feels similar to a round room, even without a dedicated round glass module. Then I’ll show a better clover-shaped round room design. The clover room is more useful for decorating and organizing your base because the extra rounded sections give you more wall space, more natural corners, and better places to put furniture, storage, lab equipment, crafting stations, decorations, and housing components. Instead of one awkward oval box, the clover shape gives the room more personality and makes it easier to divide the space into functional areas. This guide also shows different entrance options. You can build the room around a Moonpool entrance if you want vehicle access, or you can use a more traditional base entrance with a proper front door / hatch style layout. I’ll show both approaches so you can decide which version works best for your own Subnautica 2 base. This guide covers: • How to make a round room in Subnautica 2 • Why there is no proper round glass room yet • How to build an oval room • How to build a pill-shaped room • How to build a clover-shaped round room • Why the clover room is better for decoration • Why the clover room is better for housing base components • How to add entrances with a Moonpool • How to build an entrance with a proper front door • How to use round room alternatives for better base layouts • Subnautica 2 base building tips for Early Access If you miss the classic round glass room style from Subnautica, this tutorial gives you several practical alternatives using the current Subnautica 2 building pieces. The oval room is fast and easy, while the clover-shaped room is better if you want a more flexible base interior that actually looks good once you start decorating. Because let’s be honest, a plain rectangle base works, but it also screams “I live in an underwater shipping container and emotionally gave up.” If this helped, check out my other Subnautica 2 guides for more base building tutorials, blueprint locations, furniture unlocks, Moonpool tips, Tadpole upgrades, storage guides, and Early Access building ideas. #Subnautica2 #Subnautica2Guide #BaseBuilding
