Yamaha Hammer Spring Loop Replacement Part 1

Today's tech tip is replacing broken hammer spring loops on a Yamaha U3 upright piano. Yamaha U-series uprights frequently have spring loops that turn dark brown and crumble away to nothing. Video 1 will show removing the old spring loop material from the hammer flange groove, cutting new cordage to measured spec, and gluing one side into the hammer flange groove.
