Jairus had enough faith to fall at Jesus's feet and beg Him to come to his house. But when the servant showed up and said his daughter was dead, Jesus didn't tell him to get more faith. He said don't be afraid — only believe. Fear and faith can exist at the same time, and fear is just faith going in the wrong direction.
