The film goes into detail describing the ’55 Chevy’s robust ladder frame and the various safety and structural advantages it provides, along with its then-new ball joint suspension system. Features many stunts to exemplify the driving qualities of the cars. The stunts are mostly likely performed by George Rice Chitwood (April 14, 1912 – January 3, 1988), nicknamed "Joie". Chitwood was an American racecar driver and businessman. He is best known as a daredevil in the Joie Chitwood Thrill Show. Henry Jamison "Jam" Handy (March 6, 1886 – November 13, 1983) was an American Olympic breaststroke swimmer, water polo player, and leader in the field of commercial audio and visual communications.
