A MELHOR DECISÃO FINANCEIRA PODE SER NÃO EMPREENDER

FREE course in partnership with Contabilizei - From Individual to Business: https://social.staage.com/yF1R ---------------------------------- The best financial decision might be not to become an entrepreneur. This phrase seems absurd on the internet. But it's true. In Brazil, there are CLT (Consolidation of Labor Laws) employees earning R$30,000, R$50,000, R$100,000, R$200,000 per month. Executives with bonuses. Stock options. Commissions. Black health insurance. Travel. Access to the biggest business leaders in the country. I was one of them. In 2023, I was one of the highest-paid CLT employees in Brazil. I was the CMO of Exame magazine. I had a career that many people dream of having. And even so, I resigned. To earn less. My wife didn't like it. My mother didn't like it. And financially, the first few months as an entrepreneur were worse than my last year as an executive. So why did I leave? It wasn't to get rich. It was for three things money can't buy: variety. my own channel. and the freedom to pursue my own ideas. When you're an employee, even if you're very well paid, you provide services to only one client. You work for a company. You think about the problems of a company. You test ideas that fit within a company. And that's not necessarily a bad thing. But there comes a point when the salary can become a gilded cage. Because you have a theory you want to test. A message you want to spread. An idea that no longer fits within the company where you work. In this video, I explain why I left an extremely well-paid executive career to become a partner at Staage and V4. I also explain why starting a business for the money can be one of the worst decisions you can make. Because the truth is simple: You don't need to start a company to get rich. But you might need to leave your current company to build something that only you believe in. 📌 In this video you will understand: Why CLT (Brazilian labor law) is not synonymous with poverty How executives can earn more than many entrepreneurs Why joining a growing company early can be an excellent financial decision My career path at Banco do Brasil, XP, InfoMoney, and Exame Why I accepted a lower salary to join XP What made me quit my job even though I was earning a 7-figure salary Why variety accelerates your learning in marketing and business How I built a channel with over 2 million followers Why building my own audience became the most valuable asset of my career The difference between having the freedom to execute and the freedom to decide Why making small mistakes is better than not testing anything When salary stops being security and starts becoming a gilded cage This video is supported by Contabilizei. When I decided to leave my CLT job, I didn't understand anything about CNPJ (Brazilian business registration number), taxes, tax regimes, Simples Nacional (Brazilian simplified tax system), or opening a company. I was an executive. I had entire departments taking care of that for me. It was only when I became an entrepreneur that I realized how much this bureaucratic part can hinder those who want to start. That's why, together with Contabilizei, we launched the free course "From CPF to CNPJ". A step-by-step guide for those who want to open their first company, understand the basics, and start the right way.
