Bombarda LA CANDELARIA, tipo Bergantín, navío de la Real Armada Española, siglo XVIII, CAPITULO 73
The bomb vessel "La Candelaria," the size of an 18th-century brig, was armed with twelve 8-pounder cannons, two 6-pounder cannons, two 11-inch mortars, and ten 1/2-pounder falconets. This bomb vessel played a crucial role in the bombardment of Gibraltar in 1782. In 1783, it joined the Royal Corsair fleet, conducting privateering operations in the Caribbean, capturing English and Dutch ships, and combating illegal trade and piracy in Spanish territories of that era. This ship is handcrafted; the pieces are handmade. If you enjoy my videos, please click the "Like" button and subscribe to the channel. NAVAL MODELING AND ART - Jesús Pareja Email: [email protected]
