Seviyan Custard

Seviyan Custard (Traditional Sweet Dish) Ingredients 1 cup vermicelli (seviyan) 1 liter milk ½ cup sugar (or to taste) 2 tbsp custard powder 1 tsp green cardamom powder 2 tsp ghee Chopped dry fruits (almonds, cashews, pistachios, raisins) for garnish, as needed Instructions 1. Heat the ghee in a pan over medium heat. 2. Add the vermicelli and roast until it turns light golden brown and fragrant. 3. Pour in the milk and bring it to a gentle boil, stirring occasionally. 4. In a small bowl, mix the custard powder with a few tablespoons of cold milk until smooth and lump-free. 5. Add the custard mixture to the simmering milk while stirring continuously. 6. Stir in the sugar and green cardamom powder. 7. Cook for 5–8 minutes, or until the custard thickens and the vermicelli is soft. 8. Remove from the heat and garnish with chopped dry fruits. 9.
