Almost every single thing we use on film and video sets requires power, which means we need access to electrical outlets or we need a bunch of batteries. Recently I decided to make a case that would hold all my battery chargers in a nice, tidy, professional way. You want things to be modular so when you get new gear that maybe requires new batteries you can swap small pieces of this out instead of having to replace everything. Overall this portable one-case battery charging station is a killer all-around DIY solution for powering your gear and charging your batteries at the same time. And the best part of this whole build is that you could use whatever case you have and essentially build a custom battery charger that fits you and your gear needs, and you could even skip the battery overall and just use this as a one-case battery charging station that plugs into the wall.
