DaVinci Mini 3D Printer Grinding Noise/Error - Sketchy eBay Special!

Bought a "New (open box)" eBay special DaVinci Mini 3D on the cheap. Turns out it wasn't so new and definitely isn't working. Makes a hideous grinding noise and beeps out right after being turned on. Anybody got any ideas? If I get my money back and the seller doesn't want the printer back, I'm going to try fixing it myself. Worst that can happen is I disassemble it and sell it for parts. Update: Seller gave me a full refund. Time to open it up and try to fix it.
