Variability in Seedling Growth
In this lab video, I share how some of my orchid seedlings are very rapid-growing and uniform while some of them remain variable in growth, even though they were initially selected as the nicest seedlings in their groups. Sometimes, genetics plays the biggest role and there is nothing that you can do about the slow growers or runts, that can be common, depending on the seed lot.
