INGREDIENTS: 250g Maria biscuits ½ L of milk = 500ml = 2 cups 1 can of condensed milk 4 eggs 250ml of strong, cold coffee = 1 cup 2 tablespoons of cornstarch 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence OPTIONAL: ground cinnamon to taste PREPARATION: Combine the eggs, milk, condensed milk, cornstarch and vanilla and mix well. Then pour into a saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring constantly until thickened and remove from heat. Crush 50g of the biscuits and set aside. Dip the rest in the coffee and place them in a container in alternating layers with cream, so that the last layer is cream. Let cool and refrigerate until serving time. Serve chilled, sprinkled with the crushed biscuit crumbs.
