This video was filmed in the Handa area on the Chita Peninsula, where JR Central's Taketoyo Line and Meitetsu's Chita Line compete for passengers traveling to and from Nagoya. While railway fans often think of Nagoya–Gifu or Nagoya–Toyohashi as the main battlegrounds between JR Central and private railways, the Handa–Nagoya corridor is also a surprisingly competitive market. At the time of filming, JR Central was introducing the new 315 Series and preparing to retire the long-serving 313 Series from the Taketoyo Line. Meanwhile, Meitetsu continued to compete with frequent Limited Express and Express services, many featuring reserved-seat accommodations.
