In this video, I’m going to explain the facts about the Periyar and anti-Hindi protests. The Dravidian ideologists claim that the Periyar is the first one who raised a voice against the Hindi imposition by the Rajaji government during 1938. But Eezhathu Sivanantha Adigal wrote in His book tittles “Hindi Ethirppu-andrum Indrum (இந்தி எதிர்ப்பு: அன்றும் இன்றும்)” about the real history of Hindi Imposition. He claims that Periyar didn’t start the Anti-Hindi protest but he asked the protesters to disperse.
