But it's still very early, I landed 7 shad, from 1PM to 7PM. But with only 2000 shad passing the dam, 7 is not bad. Again, the most important trick for shad fishing is: Keep your line tight! Let the jig sink for about 8 to 10 seconds to the bottom before reeling in if the current is pretty strong. Reel in quicker if there is no current. Leave the comments if you have questions.
