1908 Sears Motor Buggy H Runabout - Horseless Carriage - Early Automobile
In 1908, the Sears & Roebuck company began offering the Sears Motor Buggy in their fall catalogue. A Model G, J, and top model H were offered. Popular with customers, 3500 units were sold in a short few years. It was no Ford Model T, Sears was losing money on each one of them so the plug was pulled on the Sears Motor Buggy around 1910. They didn't even call it an automobile until 1910. Still these 2-cylinder powered 10HP friction drive horseless carriage dual chain drive autos remain in private collections. There is a registry online. See the link below to learn about these great early cars. I love antique automobiles and brass era cars. - Enjoy the HD video SEARS MOTOR BUGGY HISTORY http://searsmotorbuggy.com/Sears_hist... SAMSPACE81 marketing / samspace81
