Plymouth's Armada Way trees legal battle goes to High Court
Plymouth City Council’s latest bid to halt the legal battle over the chopped-down Armada Way trees is due to be heard in court this week. The authority will be given 20 minutes to argue its position before a High Court judge on Thursday, September 14. The council wants the court to consider stopping a judicial review brought by protesters at Save the Trees of Armada Way (Straw) - just three months after a judge said the hearing should go ahead. The newly-elected Labour administration had claimed the proceedings were “academic” because it had sent the £12.7m Armada Way redevelopment scheme back to the drawing board. #plymouth #plymouthuk #trees #armadaway Like & Subscribe for more content To read the full story click here: https://www.plymouthherald.co.uk/news...
