This project car was bought from e-bay in July 2020 for the sum of £4000. My intentions are to carry out a light restoration and make the car the best it can be while keeping it almost completely original. The end result will be a time warp back to 1984 and the car will look like it has just left the showroom. This Mini Mayfair is rare in that it has only covered 12,000 miles since new, only 330 miles per year! The shell is almost completely rust free and has never been welded or had any panels replaced. In this update, I check the Hillman Imp wheels on my Mini Cooper to check the wheel offset doesn't cause the tire to rub the front of the wheel arch
