A long allen key style torx wrench allows you to access both bolts on the thermostat housing. This will prevent you from having to remove your power steering pump and utility belt. If additional torque is needed a box end style wrench can be used to give you more mechanical advantage. Also, if you're replacing your intake manifold or working on your PCV system it will give you easier access to a 10mm bolt on the intake that's hard to access without a swivel end socket.
