What's it like to take up Aeronautical Engineering at PhilSCA

Kung nagbabalak kang magtake up ng Aeronautical Engineering (lalo na kung sa PhilSCA mo balak pumasok), then this video is for you. However, gusto kong i-emphasize na majority sa mga nabanggit ko rito ay subjective - inistate ko lang mga bagay-bagay based sa three years na experience ko bilang Aero Eng'g student sa Philippine State College of Aeronautics. Mataas chance na hindi true sa lahat ng students ang mga experiences na nabanggit ko so please keep an open mind habang nakikinig : ) However, just to make sure, may mga ica-clarify lang akong points. 'yung unang con about sa attendance ng mga teachers ay nu'ng first sem ng first year ko lang siya naobserve (and siempre, sa section lang namin, not sure if ganun din sa ibang section); after nun, goods na lahat in terms of attendance ng mga profs. For the ROTC na part, 'di ko pala nastate pero kung may health problem ka (for example, asthma), pwede ka naman magrequest na mag CWTS. Additionaly, after gathering opinions from some of my batchmates, here are some of the pros and cons na nabanggit nila Additional pros: 1.) may sariling hangar ang PhilSCA may dalawang aircraft - Cessna 152 at Defiant 300 (itong Defiant, nu'ng World War II 'to binuo tapos parang tradition na na hawakan siya ng mga students bago mag board exam pampaswerte hahaha). may engine room for reciprocating engine!! may Air Traffic Control (ATC) room din sa hangar. 2.) May sariling wind tunnel ang school 3.) Magkakaroon na ng licenses for software na related sa Engineering this coming A/Y 2021-2022(?) (Solidworks, AutoCAD, ANSYS, and MATLAB, if I'm not mistaken) 4.) Halos katabi ang NAIA so siempre, airplanes!! hahaha 5.) Malapit(? depende sa kung sino tatanungin haha) sa MOA at BGC hahaha 6.) (we will try to continuously update this list) Additional cons: 1.) Mabagal 'yung processing ng ibang documents which sometimes lead to scholarships being forfeited dahil may nauna na sa slots. 2.) 'Di ganun karami ang clubs 3.) Kailangan mag-apply for DL 4.)
