Rabaul Town Pre Eruption
Rabaul town was considered the most beautiful town in Papua New Guinea and also the 'Pearl of the South Pacific' until 1994 when it was destroyed by the twin volcanic eruptions of Mt. Tavurvur and Vulcan. Even though Rabaul town is gone, it will always be in the heart of people who had lived there. It is slowly rising up from the ashes and is still maintaining its natural beauty. The pictures in this short video is taken from John B. Dikaung's Photo Album and the Facebook group 'Swit Rabaul'.
