KYOTO EM 1 DIA: Roteiro:Kinkaku-ji, Fushimi Inari e Caminho do Filósofo
Another vlog from Japan, YUHUUUL!! In today's video, we started by taking the Shinkansen from Hiroshima to Kyoto. Look, before we tell you what we did, I need to give you a security tip: You know how we use Wi-Fi at airports and hotels? To protect our data, we use Kaspersky Premium. It has a VPN for accessing content from Brazil (streaming, stores, etc.), a document safe, and a password manager. 🎁 SPECIAL OFFER (for a limited time!): By purchasing Kaspersky Premium, you get FREE access to VIP lounges at Brazilian airports! Now, check out everything we did there that day: 🏯 KINKAKU-JI TEMPLE (GOLDEN PAVILION): We started our day at Kyoto's most famous landmark. The Golden Pavilion, covered in pure gold leaf, reflects in the mirror-like lake that surrounds it. ❓ How much does admission cost? It's ¥500 for adults. Payment is due at the entrance, and advance purchase is usually not necessary. ❓ What's the best time to visit? Right at opening (usually at 9 a.m.) or in the late afternoon. The morning light shines directly on the pavilion, highlighting its golden glow. 🍵 GINKAKU-JI TEMPLE (SILVER PAVILION): Our second stop is Ginkaku-ji. Although its name suggests a "silver pavilion," it was never covered in silver. Instead, its beauty lies in its simplicity and wabi-sabi aesthetic—the appreciation of imperfection and transience. ❓ How much does it cost and what are the opening hours? Admission is 500 yen. It usually opens at 8:30 a.m. Check seasonal opening hours. 🌸 PHILOSOPHER'S PATH (TETSUGAKU NO MICHI): A Contemplative Walk Connecting the Ginkaku-ji grounds to other temples, Philosopher's Path is a roughly 2-kilometer stone path that runs alongside a canal. It's famous for its hundreds of cherry trees, which form a tunnel of blossoms in spring. ❓ Is the walk difficult? No, it's completely flat and very pleasant. It's perfect for a relaxing stroll between temple visits. ⛩ FUSHIMI INARI SHRINE: Through the Thousand Red Gates Our last major stop is perhaps the most magical. Fushimi Inari Shrine is famous for its thousands of red torii gates, which form winding tunnels through the sacred Inari Mountain. Each gate was donated by individuals or businesses as an offering to Inari, the Shinto deity of rice and business. ❓ How much does it cost? Admission is free, and the shrine is open 24 hours a day. ❓ How to avoid the crowds? Most tourists congregate at the base of the shrine. The best tip is to keep climbing! After a 20-30-minute walk, you'll find sections of the torii tunnels practically empty, perfect for the incredible photos we show in the video. ❓ How long is the entire trail? The climb to the top of Mount Inari and back takes 2 to 3 hours. For a shorter experience, the return trip through the Yotsutsuji intersection offers spectacular views of the city and quieter stretches. 🎨 NODE HOTEL: To end the day, we chose a place to stay that's an attraction in itself. The Node Hotel isn't just a place to sleep; it's a contemporary art gallery. With an industrial-chic design, artwork throughout, and a focus on the creative community, the experience goes far beyond a conventional hotel. We show all the details of our room and common areas in the video. ❓ Is it well located? Yes, it's centrally located, with easy access to transportation and restaurants. ✈️ PLAN YOUR TRIP TO JAPAN WITH OUR TIPS ✈️ The links below are to services we use and trust.
