Low-lying areas in Wanhua Village, Nanzhou Township, have been severely flooded, turning the area into a vast expanse of water. Preliminary estimates indicate that approximately 200 households have been affected by the flooding. Farmers' wax apple orchards are also completely submerged. Pingtung County Magistrate Chou Chun-mi urgently visited the disaster area and stated that areas where the floodwaters have not yet receded should apply for assistance from the military as soon as possible.
